What to know
The medical scanner, also known as computed tomography (CT), is a non-invasive imaging exam. It allows extremely precise millimetre-level examination of all anatomical structures.
- Preparation
- Fast for 6 hours before the exam if it concerns the abdomen. Inform us if you take anticoagulants, have diabetes, or renal insufficiency.
- Duration
- About 20 minutes.
