Question

77-year-old patient suffering from lower back pain and left groin pain.

On the spinal X-rays, degenerative disorders are evident. No lytic or blastic lesions. Similarly, on the pelvic X-rays, the coxarthrosis is considered modest. An enlargement of the image of the femoral head shows a blurred aspect here, and the complementary ultrasound leads to the diagnosis —> of calcifying peri-trochanteric enthesopathy.

How to help this patient?

ANSWER

This is a case of calcifying enthesopathy peri-trochanteric.
